2009–2010 Season
James and the Giant Peach A NIGHT OF A THOUSAND STARS is an original musical revue. Inspired
by the Peacock Players traditional Christmas Spectacular, this all-new
episodic song and dance revue is sure to become a Peacock Players
tradition, as well as a gift to the local community. In this long-running Off-Broadway hit musical revue, Broadway's
greatest musical legends meet Broadway's greatest satirist in this
hilarious, loving, and endlessly entertaining tribute to some of
the theatre's greatest stars and songwriters. Shows lampooned in
this low-budget "revue-sical" include Chicago, Annie,
Into the Woods, Les Miserables, Wicked, West Side Story, Mamma Mia,
Rent, Spamalot, Fiddler on the Roof, Hairspray, A Chorus Line, and
others. Honk! is the story of Ugly, whose odd, gawky looks instantly incite
prejudice from his family and neighbors. Separated from the farm
and pursued by a hungry cat, Ugly must find his way home. Along
his rollicking and harrowing journey he not only discovers his true
beauty and glorious destiny, but also finds love and acceptance
in all its forms. In THE WEDDING SINGER, it's 1985 and rock-star wannabe Robbie Hart
is New Jersey's favorite wedding singer. He's the life of the party,
until his own fiancée leaves him at the altar. Shot through
the heart, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own.
Based on the New Line Cinema film starring Adam Sandler, this production
